Web Development and Content Manager

How long have you been with the airline?

I started working for Wizz Air in January 2007 as a Public Relations Manager and moved to the Web Development team after a few months.

What’s your favourite route?

London-Budapest, as it allows me to go home to London on Friday nights and get back to the office in Budapest on Monday mornings.

Favourite city?

It has to be Rome. It’s a beautiful city with an amazing history and culture, great food, fantastic weather and amazing shops.

Is there anywhere on the network they’ve not been yet but would like to go to?

Wizz Air flies to so many great cities that I would like to go to all of them! Currently, the top of my list is Venice.

What’s your favourite place in a city and why?

My favourite place is Covent Garden in London. It has such an exciting atmosphere and great restaurants.

What’s the job’s best part?

My job is very varied and includes anything from setting up promotions, writing, translating and keeping all the content up to date, creating and sending the weekly newsletters, monitoring the numbers of weekly visitors, ensuring that the site is up and running at all time, etc. The most exciting part is the introduction of new services/products. It can be challenging at times with 17 languages.

What object could you not do you job without?

I couldn’t live without my BlackBerry remote access (although I am trying to convince my boss that I would be even more efficient if I had an iPhone!) as it allows me to work on the go wherever I am in the world and my team.
