New routes
Wizz Air has just announced it is opening new routes to Liverpool and Oslo Torp from Prague. Flights from Prague to Liverpool John Lennon airport will be launched on 11 July and operated three times a week, while flights to Oslo Torp will start on 12 July and operate four times a week. The new services will complement the already announced routes operated from the Ruzyne Airport to 11 in total.
New bases
As it was announced just a few weeks ago, the company will establish its 11th base in Prague with two brand new Airbus A320 aircraft in summer 2009. The carrier will launch new flights as well as increase frequencies on some of the existing routes concurrently with the arrival of its first and second aircraft. Wizz Air has already recruited local cabin attendants and pilots to fly the new planes.

Celebrations and awards
Wizz Air has been awarded in Poland the ‘Best Low Cost Airline 2008′.
The airline was voted the best by the pasazer.com portal readers for the fifth consecutive year running. "Above all it confirms that what passengers really want is low fares coupled with a great customer experience." It shows that the company has established itself on the Polish market and it gained passengers’ trust."
Nowe trasy
Wizz Air ogłosił właśnie włączenie do swojej siatki lotów nowych tras z Pragi – do Liverpoolu i Oslo Torp. Loty do Liverpoolu rozpoczną się 11 lipca i?planowane są trzy razy w tygodniu. Do Oslo natomiast Wizz Air poleci cztery razy w tygodniu, od 12 lipca. Dzięki rozszerzeniu siatki lotów praskie lotnisko Ruzyne obsługiwać będzie w sumie 11 tras.
Nowe bazy
Jak ogłoszono kilka tygodni temu, firma planuje swoją 11. bazę w Pradze, jak również korzystanie z dwóch nowych samolotów Airbus A320 już w lecie 2009 roku. How long have you been working for Wizz?
I’ve been working for Wizz since the summer of 2004.
What is your typical work day?
Once a week I have my flying duty, when I actually work as part of the cabin crew. The rest of the week I spend at our headquarters where we are constantly revising and analysing our operation’s issues and working out how to solve them as quickly as possible. With our management team, we’re continuously working on future plans and new projects. After office hours we do socialize a lot! You can’t beat good food and wine and great music is crucial to keep the atmosphere among our team as good as it always should be.
What is the most satisfying part of your job: The amount of appreciation amongst the crew and my colleagues that I get. It feels really right.
What is the most exciting thing about working for Wizz Air?
The diversity of the colleagues, the dynamic growth of the airline, the success which we’re all contributing towards and the even brighter future we are non-stop working on.
